Organization Miami Lighthouse for the Blind & Visually Impaired Primary Category Charity & Social Events Extras At the 2012 See the Light Luncheon, the Miami Lighthouse for the Blind will celebrate the completion of the Spencer Educational Empowerment Center Challenge which will allow for the construction of a new fourth floor to expand Braille and technology literacy, job readiness, and transition program for teenagers. Major contributors who will be honored at the luncheon include Mary Spencer, Marta Weeks, Jan & Dan Lewis, Penny & Roe Stamps, Jacquelyn Hegamyer Hinckley and Katharine Hegamyer, and the esteemed Ruby Jubiliarians. More than 200 of South Florida's philanthropists and community leaders will attend this extraordinary luncheon, generously underwritten by Bessemer Trust, Shutts & Bowen, LLP and Commissioner Sally A.
