Organization The Wolfsonian-Florida International University Primary Category Charity & Social Events Extras The iconic Miami Beach estate once owned by notorious mob boss Al Capone will transform into a Halloween extravaganza and fundraiser complete with live entertainment, costumes, cocktails, charity gaming, and a silent auction. Guests must purchase tickets in advance and all proceeds will go to The Wolfsonian-FIU. The event, sponsored in part by City National Bank, will be held at 93 Palm Avenue, a waterfront estate that once belonged to Al Capone. As a nod to the former crime boss, the fundraiser will have a "Prohibition Party" theme, and guests are asked to wear attire that echoes the bygone era. There will be a special cocktail reception inside the home for premium ticketholders starting at 7 p.m. called "Gangsters, Gambling, and Greyhounds: Miami Beach Mafia in the 1930's," The party runs from 8 PM to Midnight. Event highlights will include live music, cocktails by Bar Lab for Bacardi, beverages by Société Perrier, food by TIKL Bar & Grill, and cigars by Wynwood Cigar Factory.
