In the 2012 presidential election, more so than ever in modern American history, Israel has been turned into a wedge issue and American Jews into a voting bloc to be fractured along partisan and ideological lines. Samuel G. Freedman, the religion columnist for The New York Times and author of books including "Jew vs Jew," looks at these startling, disturbing trends. He will assess how they played out on November 6 and what they mean for the future.A light reception will be held before the event, at 6:30 in the ballroom lobby. General Admission 0.00
