Organization Frost Art Museum at FIU Primary Category Art Exhibitions Extras Two new world-class exhibitions at an Opening Night reception from 5pm-8pm. The exhibitions are Iván Navarro: Fluorescent Light Sculptures and Reflections Across Time: Seminole Portraits. Chilean-born Iván Navarro's light sculptures have evolved from his extensive exploration of light and electrical materials, together with a profound interest in enriching a dialogue with modern and contemporary artists, designers, architects, and musicians who have made significant contributions to art history. Reflections Across Time features over 150 years of portraits of Seminole leaders and tribal members by George Catlin, Edward Curtis and other noted nineteenth and twentieth-century artists are featured. The reception is free of charge and open to the public.
