Slow Food Miami and Chef Norman Van Aken announced an exclusive culinary experience with James Beard Award-winning New Orleans chef Susan Spicer to celebrate the unveiling of the new Slow Food Miami Fountain in the Gardens & Slow Food International's Terre Madre Day. All proceeds benefit Slow Food Miami's Edible School Garden Program & The Miami Culinary Institute of MDC. The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with a VIP cooking class with Chef Susan Spicer. In addition to learning how to prepare Chef Spicer's award-winning recipes, participants will receive an autographed copy of her cookbook "Crescent City Cooking" & have a chance to interact with the chef. Guests will then enjoy a exclusive food, wine & spirits experience in the Gardens where they can taste a variety of Chef Spicer's recipes while sipping cocktails provided by Grey Goose Vodka & wine-pairings provided by Vinecraft. The party unfolds on Terre Madre Day, giving our community a fun-filled way to celebrate the culture of food.
