The Southern Cross Astronomical Society will hold a winter Tropical Star Party on January 27. Members will set up binoculars and telescopes to view the winter constellations. Bring family and friends, and insect repellent just in case. The park entrance for this event will close at 8:00 p.m. For information, please call the Southern Cross Astronomical Society at (305) 661-1375 or visit www.scas.org. Sunset admission fee of $4.00.
