Wednesday, February 6, 2013, 6:45 – 7:45am Multi-purpose room B Class DescriptionsThese general recommendations are based on the class' general format; however, all instructors are trained to provide modifications for exercisers of different levelsAquatic Exercise: Improve cardiovascular endurance and increase strength with less stress on the joints.Cardio Funk: Break it down and sweat it out with easy to learn dance moves and your favorite hip hop music. If you love to dance and have fun, this high energy class will get your heart pumping and keep you coming back!Cardio Interval: A little bit of anything cardio that raises and lowers the heart rate in varying intervals. May include strength training.Cardio Kickboxing: A workout combining high and low impact kicks, punches, and martial arts techniques.Core Conditioning: A class strictly devoted to the muscles in your torso.Guts-n-Butts: One hour class devoted to strengthening and toning the lower body and the core.Sport Circuit: A high intensity class that focuses on speed, agility, and sport training, but excellent for overall fitness!Stability Ball Sculpt: A total body sculpting class using the stability ball along with other exercise equipment.Step-N-Core: A class using step choreography to give the body an incredible cardiovascular work-out.Strength Interval: A total body sculpting work-out that raises and lowers the heart rate in varying intervals. May include cardio.Super Sculpt: Get a total body workout using the step, weights, bars and bands to tone from head to toe.TBC (Total Body Conditioning): A full body workout with a mixture of cardio, strength, and core that will condition your body from head to toe!Turbo Training: High intensity cardio intervals mixed with kickboxing movements will be guaranteed to kick start your metabolism for the day!TRX Circuit: A circuit style class that incorporates the TRX suspension trainer. (Limited to 20 participants)Upper Body Sculpt: A class strictly devoted to your upper body musculature.Zumba: Combines high energy and motivating Latin music with unique moves and combinations. Policies: Please Read Carefully! -Only current, fees-paid UM students or Wellness Center members and/or their official guests are eligible to participate in free Group Exercise classes.-Patrons must be at least 13 years of age to participate in any classes offered at the Wellness Center.-Participants should line up outside of the designated entry door. Under no circumstances should members enter the aerobics room until so instructed by the door monitor or instructor.-Class sessions are limited to a maximum of 55 participants in Multi-B, 46 in Multi-D, and 20 in the pool unless otherwise stated. Entry is on a first come, first serve basis. After the maximum number has entered, the class will be closed. For popular class times we will begin handing out numbers in front of the door in the order that patrons have arrived 20 minutes before the start of class time. Please make sure to take a number.-For safety reasons, participants may only enter an open class until 10 minutes after class start time. After 10 minutes the class is closed.-Participants must wear athletic, closed-toes shoes to participate in any group exercise class.
