You are cordially invited to experience a wonderful evening of live Tango and dancing at Avenue D Jazz and Blues Lounge: TANGO MUSIC Unplugged, a Friends of NWS Chamber Salon on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at 9:00 p.m. Our fellows have curated a sizzling evening of interactive music and dancing for our VIP members. They will perform Astor Piazzolla classics, amongst other timeless pieces. Piazzolla was not your typical “classical” composer. He spent most of his life playing in nightclubs accompanied by a quintet of musicians. There will be special appearances by Florida Grand Opera Soprano Catalina Cuervo and renowned Tango dancers who will teach us some moves and show us the beauty of this art form.
