Fort Lauderdale – The Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale (JLGFL) will be holding a fundraiser at Grille 401 at 401 East Las Olas in Fort Lauderdale on April 3, 2013 from 6 PM to 7:30 PM. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale’s community projects.
The event will include a drink recipe demonstration from the Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale’s Paradise Served cookbook, delicious appetizers, and one complimentary drink. The Cookbook Committee will be onsite selling all three JLGFL cookbooks: Sunny Side Up, Made in the Shade, and Paradise Served. Many other books from Leagues around the country will also be available for purchase. The cost of the event is $10 which can be used towards the purchase a cookbook. Grille 401 is locally owned and operated by Rainmaker Restaurant Group, a South Florida based restaurant group who believes in supporting the local communities and residents. Rainmaker’s extraordinary team of executives and chefs sources ingredients and supplies from local farms and businesses.
The Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale is a non-profit organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Proceeds from fundraisers benefit current Junior League projects, including the FLITE Center, the signature Junior League Play Station at the Holiday Park, Ronald McDonald House, and numerous Done in a Day projects throughout the year.
