Craig Robins and Museum Director Thom Collins regarding how the arts have transformed and will continue to transform South Florida.
The Miami Art Museum Corporate Luncheon highlights the corporate community’s integral support of the arts throughout the region. Proceeds from the Corporate Luncheon support the Museum’s public programming, including the largest art education program in Miami-Dade County outside the school system itself.
This December, the Museum will reopen as Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) in a new, expanded facility in downtown Miami’s Museum Park. A dramatic location on Biscayne Bay has been provided by the City of Miami, the voters of Miami-Dade County have approved $100 million in bond funding, and private donors, including many corporations, have committed millions in additional support for the building and institutional endowment. The new PAMM will transform Museum Park into a central destination on Miami’s cultural map, promote progressive arts education, build community cohesiveness, and contribute substantially to downtown revitalization. In its new facility, the Museum will more than double the reach of its education program, serving more than 80,000 children and adults every year, including every third grader in Miami-Dade County. Sponsorship levels range from $500 to $20,000
