Stonly BaptisteStonly Baptiste taught himself Python to build the software platform for his last startup which was later acquired. He currently serves as EVP of Software at independenceIT and lovesthe ease of use and structure of Python as he continues to scale their platform. His development stack now includes Erlang, Golang, and PHP but he prefers hacking in Python and feels it's a great language to learn programming.
Matthew Housden has been programming for 8 years, starting with PHP and later moving to Python. He chose Python as there were a number of frameworks that allowed rapid development and numerous libraries to accomplish almost any task he could think of. Matthew also writes programs in Ruby and spends a lot of time taking some of the best features of Rails and reimplementing them in Python.
