Code Fever @ Lab Miami Are you a interested in technology?
Would you like to learn how to build your own website or an app? Open to All High School Students and their parents.
Free Feverish Pops
Plus a Panel discussion for Parents to learn about getting their kids engaged in technology.
Feverish Pops and Lab Miami team up to teach minority students how to code! For far too long many of the kids in our community think that Football or Basketball is the only way out of some of South Florida's most disadvantaged communities. Our mission for this event is to move our kids from just being consumers of technology to creators of technology. We are excited to partner with Lab Miami for this interactive event that will equip local students with the tools they need to be a part of this new tech start up ecosystem and not only introduce them to career opportunities but also tech entrepreneurship as well. Students will be a part of an all day event introducing them to the basics of programing taught by local programmers and parents will get the opportunity to listen to a panel of successful programers, start-up founders and community partners to help them keep the conversation going at home.
