Friday, November 22, 7PM, MOCALecture by McKenzie Wark, moderated by Gean Moreno.McKenzie Wark discusses the role of technology in popular culture and fine art production today.Wark is a professor of media and cultural studies at the New School for Social Research and Eugene Lang College in New York City. He works primarily on media theory, critical theory and new media and is the author of several books, most recently A Hacker Manifesto (Harvard University Press) and Dispositions (Salt Publishing).
Moreno is a Miami-based artist and theoretician, and the founder of [name] publications. His writing appears regularly in the e-Flux journal.Admission: $5 members
