Toine the Don

Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL this 23-year-old African-American has been doing his thing in the radio industry for about  6 years.

He began at the early age of 14, calling the radio station, competing and winning numerous amounts of contest on WEDR-FM 99Jamz, but it wouldn’t stop there. Toine’s burning desire and driven urge to become an on air personality had just begun.

While pursing his High School education at Boyd Anderson High in Lauderdale Lakes, FL and still determined, he used his bedroom to practice as if he was in a studio.

He continues to accumulate experience and skills, working as an On-Air Personality and Programming Assistant for WEDR-FM 99Jamz. He also credits his radio experience to an internship at 99Jamz with Derrick Baker and Shelby Rushin, who allowed him and his personality to shine giving more than expected of him.

With numerous compliments and a positive attitude coupled with a great heart and mind, South Florida’s Baby Boy, “Toine the Don” is definitely on the road to success.
