You will receive a raffle entry for each $100.00 gift, for example: $500.00 = 5 raffle entries. The lucky winner will get to choose a 3 or 4-day Bahamas itinerary sailing in an ocean view stateroom aboard Norwegian Sky out of the Port of Miami (based on availability).

Margie and Fred were married for 20 years but remained childless. One day their dreams came true, they were going to become foster parents! Beautiful baby “Chelsea” was born as a drug exposed infant, but was able to recover after being placed in the loving arms of Margie and Fred. The grateful couple fell deeply in love with this precious angel.  As time passed, “Chelsea” grew, and Margie quit her job which enabled her to devote more time and energy to this miracle child.

Shortly after Thanksgiving when “Chelsea” was 14 months old, Margie and Fred were informed that the child’s birth mother had reformed and that “Chelsea” was going to be taken away from them.  With very little transition, little “Chelsea” was moved back to her mother’s home... the foster parents were devastated.

On December 24^th, Christmas Eve, Kids In Distress received a call that “Chelsea” was found left alone, hungry, dirty and crying in the birth mother’s apartment. KID was asked if Margie and Fred would take baby “Chelsea” back.

Margie and Fred were elated and welcomed baby “Chelsea” back to their home. It was by far the best holiday season Margie and Fred had ever had.  Their child was home, everyone was healthy and an adoption was on the horizon.
