As one of the crown jewels of Miami's Omni district, the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts (commonly called The Arsht Center) is the only place in Miami for local performing arts, Broadway Theater, and contemporary musicians. The huge facility is the second-largest performing arts center the US and contains three different venues that can accommodate nearly any scheduled event. Every year, residents of Miami buy hundreds of thousands of tickets to the many exciting events that The Arsht Center offers, and return to this prestigious venue again and again.
Though The Arsht Center opened in 2006, the land had previously been used as a Burdines and Sears, Roebuck and Company when the Omni was a high-end shopping area. The center is home to the Florida Grand Opera and the Miami City Ballet, and sometimes schedules performances by the New World Symphony. The Arsht Center is actually made up of three separate venues, which include the Ziff Ballet Opera House, Knight Concert Hall, and Carnival Studio Theater, all of which are extravagantly designed and acoustically amazing. In addition to the symphony, opera, and ballet, The Arsht Center sells many tickets for the mainstream musicians and touring Broadway productions that it hosts as these popular acts pass through town.
Many popular performances are hosted at The Arsht Center each month, so be sure to check the schedule above to avoid missing anything exciting, and be sure to buy your tickets early on Eventful.
