North Central Branch Library opened its doors for the first time on July 27, 1990, and was the last library to be built with "Decade of Progress" funds. Special features include a walled garden/patio area and Environmental Protection Agency documents covering the Anaconda Superfund site. This 5,000 square-foot library includes a program room for special events. In addition to its multicultural collection, North Central offers access to many research databases, as well as the Internet.
