Ok…All I’m gonna say is, “I TOLD YOU SO!” That’s right Heat Fans… annnnd Haters, I told y’all in my last blog that I thought the Heat would find their fire and guess what…?! THEY DID!! Despite some awful officiating the Heat were able to hold on and beat the Mavs 88-86 last night in game 3 of the NBA Finals.
Unfortunately though, they weren’t without flaw. They did give up a 7 point lead with 5min left in 4th, which allowed the Mavs to tie the game up with less than a minute to play. But then it happened…the one eyed wonderaka Chris Bosh hit a base line jumper to put the Heat up by 2 with 35 seconds left to play and that was all she wrote…well until tomorrow night anyway! The win put the Heat up 2-1 in the series and swung home court advantage back in our direction. Game 4 is Tuesday night, 9pm (et) in Dallas.
Now, that said, I do want to ask you guys what YOU thought of the calls during last nights game. Let my Twitter and Facebook friends tell it, the game was an officiating abomination!! Between the BAD calls, NO calls, and Oscar worthy performances by both Heat and Mavs players I’m just going to chalk it up to the NBA wanting to entertain its fans…..riiiiiiiiiiiight??!
