Rising singer Jay Onlē walked into 99 JAMZ with his head held high and his family by his side. The 25-year-old singer and songwriter rocked a snappy ensemble that made him look like a rock star. His black turtleneck was covered by a slick, black leather jacket as he rocked zebra-printed pants and a blue hat. You can say he channeled his inner Pharrell, but not even the Skateboard P can touch Jay Onlē’s drip.
The “Natural Tingz” singer first got inspired to get into the entertainment industry at the young age of 4. After he developed his dancing skills, Onlē began working on his singing voice. He began performing everywhere from church to high school events. Then, back in 2014, Onlē began uploading songs to his Soundcloud account with his first record called “Superstar.”
After he followed up with "Outta Breath" featuring Ellison Kendrick, Onlē dropped his song "Nobody" produced by BareE Bandz, which got him plenty of attention. Then in 2017, the Deerfield Beach native dropped his Black Knight EP, which features his winning single "Natural Tingz."
During his interview with the Pac Jam’s DJ Nasty and Big Mack, Jay Onlē talks about his early beginnings as an R&B/Pop singer. Onlē also talks about his plans for a new album coming soon, and reveals who he wants to work with from the crib. Watch his entire interview below.
