This Thursday afternoon a North Miami Beach Police Officer was involved in a shooting that occurred in the area of Northeast 172nd Street and Biscayne Boulevard.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue also responded to the scene. They said the call at that address came in as a medical call, possibly in reference to a dog bite and a traffic incident. Two people were taken to Aventura Hospital as trauma alerts.
