Constantly knocking down the glass ceilings, the rumors that first circulated in January, about Rihanna and LVMH Moet Hennessey Louis Vuitton collaborating, have officially been confirmed.

According to New York Times, the bad gal is launching a fashion house called Fenty with the world’s largest luxury group. She’s breaking barriers with a few firsts. She’ll be the first woman to create her own original brand. She’ll be the first black woman at the top of an LVMH fashion house, and her Fenty line will be the first new house created by the group since Christian Lacroix in 1987. She deserves rounds!

What can we expect?

As of now, the Fenty fashion house will be based in Paree (Paris) and reportedly include ready to wear shoes and accessories. It’ll be “centered on Rihanna, developed by her, and takes shape with her vision”, according to a statement by LVMH.

Although fans keep screaming for new music, I’m not mad at her ventures into other things that will set her up for life beyond music.
