Millar, 57, lives in a home dubbed Bonds Cottage. The rooms are filled with items commemorating the James Bond film series.

The latest installment “No Time To Die” was scheduled to be released in April 2020, but the coronavirus pandemic forced the premier to be rescheduled multiple times. It’s now set for a theatrical release on Oct. 8, Variety reported.

His doctors said he only has weeks to live, ITV reported. He was diagnosed in May with pancreatic cancer, Metro reported.

Millar’s daughter Remy Millar said her father’s cancer is terminal and he will not live long enough to see his favorite spy on the big screen one last time, so she’s asking filmmakers to allow her father to see it before he dies.

Remy Millar told Variety “When you’re hit with a terminal diagnosis and given weeks to live, life and what happens beyond it (for both the leaving and those staying), is all you can think about.”

She told the publication that her father’s cancer has taken away “taste, smells, movement, comfort, freedom, possibility, spontaneity,” and that being able to see the latest film would allow him to “suspend reality” for a few hours.

He’s had a long connection with 007. Remy Millar told ITV that her father saw “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” in 1969 when he turned six, adding that she thinks it is the series’ cars and Hollywood glamour that drew her father in.

Variety reached out to Eon Productions and Universal Pictures, but as of Thursday had not heard back.
