Cardi B Speaks On Making Billboard Chart History & More at UNCENSORED

If you know rapper Cardi B gets down in her bloody shoes, then you already know that 99 JAMZ’ latest Uncensored show was way too lit. The former ‘Love & Hip-Hop’ star has become the hottest femcee to rock the mic with gritty bars fused with her Bronx-born “I Don’t Give a F*ck” attitude. With two mixtapes and a platinum record on her hands, we had to bring her down to Miami to drops some gems about her come-up with Felisha Monet, and hit the Uncensored stage for a stellar performance of her #1 record in the country “Bodak Yellow.”

With her official mixer DJ Sparkx on the decks, Cardi B kicked off the show with an ecstatic set featuring songs off her Gangsta Bitch Music mixtapes like "Foreva" and "Lick." In between every move she made, Cardi's vibrant body suit glistened in the limelight while cell phone lights beamed on stage making her look more radiant every minute. Of course, she ended her set with her famed single "Bodak Yellow."

After her performance, Cardi sat down with the host of the Afternoon Hustle Felisha Monet to talk about all of her success from her No. 1 record, which is the first female single to hit #1 since Lauryn Hill’s “Doo Wop (That Thing).” The Dominican rhymer also revealed how she got with Offset, the first album she ever bought (which were actually two from Missy Elliot and Tweet), and dived into exactly what led up to her recent incident in New York City that ended with Cardi stuck in a chokehold by NYPD.

"It really bothered me that a lot of people were saying like 'she's doing everything for publicity.' That sh*t f**ked my head OD."
